These terms of sale govern purchases made on the ISTEA online store. By placing an order on our site, you agree to the conditions set out below.

We invite you to read them carefully before completing your purchase.

Products

ISTEA offers jewelry designed and handcrafted in Montreal, in collaboration with partner workshops for certain manufacturing steps.

We pay particular attention to the representation of our pieces on our site. However, due to their handmade nature, slight variations in shape, texture, or finish may exist from one piece to another. These nuances are part of the unique character of each creation and do not constitute a defect.

Colors and proportions may also vary slightly depending on the screen or device used.

Availability

Our pieces are produced in small quantities, and some may be made to order.

The availability displayed on the site may therefore vary. In the exceptional event that an availability issue arises after your order is confirmed, we will contact you to address the situation in accordance with applicable laws.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the site are in Canadian dollars (CAD), unless otherwise indicated.

Applicable taxes and shipping fees are calculated and displayed at the time of checkout, when required.

ISTEA reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. However, any modification will not affect an already confirmed order.

Orders

It is the customer's responsibility to verify the information provided before confirming an order, including selected products, sizes, quantities, and delivery details.

An order confirmation is sent by email after purchase.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible at clientservices@istea.store. We will do our best to assist you before the order is prepared or shipped.

Payment

Payment must be made at the time of order using one of the payment methods offered on our online store.

The order will be processed once payment is authorized.

Transactions are conducted through the payment services available on our store. ISTEA does not directly store the complete banking information used to make your payment.

Handcrafted Production

At ISTEA, we prioritize quality over quantity. Our creations are handcrafted and produced in limited quantities.

Some pieces may require up to 3 to 4 weeks for production before shipping. When this timeframe applies, the relevant information is indicated on the product page.

Manufacturing times are separate from shipping times.

Shipping

Orders are prepared and shipped in accordance with our Shipping Policy.

Available pieces are generally prepared and shipped within 2 to 7 business days. Some made-to-order creations may require an additional production time of up to 3 to 4 weeks.

Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination, carrier, or circumstances beyond our control.

Returns and Exchanges

Return requests must be made within 14 days of receiving the order, in accordance with the conditions outlined in our Return Policy.

Pieces must be unworn, unused, and returned in their original condition and packaging to be eligible for a return.

Certain made-to-order, personalized, or modified pieces at the customer's request may be considered final sale, subject to rights provided by applicable law.

Worn or tried-on earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons, except in case of defect or when applicable law provides otherwise.

Intellectual Property

All content presented on the ISTEA website, including creations, designs, photographs, texts, illustrations, logos, graphic elements, and visual identity, is the property of ISTEA or is used with the permission of its respective owners.

This content may not be reproduced, copied, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior authorization.

Accuracy of Information

We do our best to ensure that the information presented on our site is accurate and up-to-date.

However, typographical, technical, or display errors may occur. When an error concerning an order is discovered, we will contact the customer to correct the situation in accordance with applicable laws.

Liability

ISTEA undertakes to provide products that conform to their description and to respect the obligations provided by applicable laws.

To the extent permitted by law, ISTEA cannot be held responsible for damages resulting from improper use of jewelry, inadequate care, or non-compliance with the recommendations presented in our Care Guide.

No provision of these terms aims to limit or exclude the rights granted to consumers by applicable laws.
